It's not everyday you get to see the cloudy skies break up to form this circular open space, enough for the full moon to shine through. And then, you gasp to see Mars just behind/beside the Moon. And it was a kaleidoscope of stars despite the cloud situation. I might be wrong, because I've forgotten lots from my astronomy readings, but it might be Antares that was staring at me. My own heart! ^__^

Ж-Men...but not the ones you might expect!
This week LJ Russia launched Ж-Men, a new comedy series about superheroes, inspired by the LJ communities dedicated to superheros, comics and cartoons. The title's "Ж" comes from ЖЖ, the nickname for LiveJournal in Russia.

Ж-Men's script is written by a group of LJ enthusiasts who also happen to be television professionals. Who knew? Following the premiere, five more episodes will be broadcast over the next two weeks. We hope you find the series fresh and enjoyable.

This is, of course, an experiment for LiveJournal. As always, we'd love to hear what you think!

After reading a chain of responses from another source concerning the first episode, I think I can put aside the pain and rewrite my biased opinions (lol).

Wokay, I realised they did make Nyx wear that white shirt similiar to his after-bed (NUUUUUUUUU~~~) ending. And seriously? I am clueless where those endings came from. A game? Or just fanservice? (Note to self - must research on this.) And I have to agree after watching that ending it did prepare me for a megane-less Nyx in the OP.

And I'm still against Nyx on the piano. Cheap tastes from the animation studio.

Angelique in that new outfit made me think Pretear or somewhere along that line. Do not want.

More about the OP generally - I'm rewatching the raw on veoh, and omg I finally understand why the NAA radio personalities were joking about the word "DESTINY" in their latest show. Lol. Naughty boys...! XD Rene is really beautiful, and now watching Matthias holding that dagger I finally see the situation very differently. Erenfried's tear tore at my heart and omg Myx I love your boots! The end.

Jet, you are awesome. Jet needs more screentime!! And about Yorgo - I pity him. Hontou ni? Six months under such a tough trial. No wonder Erenfried couldn't sit around anymore, but dear dear boy, if you love him enough, this should have happened NOT after six months! :( But I like the talk between megane-bocchan and the organization leader. Erenfried is all one-sided, but it's all just love deshou? ^__^

Finally that scene. I'm still wondering about it. Six months have passed. Tis good Angelique's still sleeping. And the three men were doing nothing about it? How about Nyx? In the last episode they are just gonna whine "oh noes the Tanatos are appearing around Nyx", flees, and then no comments? That's the weird thing. Maybe the script writers are just holding back information for now but still, it's been six months and it seems these guys are not doing anything about Nyx or Angelique... Meh...

ED
Same group that sang the first ED "Aiai Gasa". I think I'll also get this singles as well ^__^ But that erhu is still so sounding wrong. A violin would have been more suitable here! Melody-wise, ED1 wins.

ED sequences of hat!Angelique kept reminding me of Eugenie from Gankutsuou. Hmm. And Mercedes too. Nothing else to say? But I wanna end not with a note on Angel, so... I'm glad there's both megane!Nyx and meganeless!Nyx in the one second frame! :D

Listening to NAA Radio now... I'm happy the personalities decide to keep the topic around the series - in many of these radio shows seiyuus opt to crack about unrelated stuff.

And listening to HiraDai's voice reminds me again and again so strongly of Franz's voice. Ii ne~~

It was a long loooong day today. I'm totally dead. What happens when you're being forced to do extra stand-in work :( And gosh, I only had eight singers to lead, wtfb! I rather not have the monies.

Just... frustration.

And more depressed, when I dropped my lappie bag and realised, I had injured my left hand. Hopefully it'll take only a week to recover if I still continue to insist working (not that I have a choice).

But what a coincidence. I was reading Miyamoto-sensei's blog in school today. Seems like something happened to her left hand as well, but it was way worse than my situation:

First impression? What a long title to type.

Yet first impression? The OP... *SIGH* I really really had mentally prepared myself for the new OP, but... I STILL DON'T LIKE IT. >.< Demo, it's already better than the first OP, phew. A slight relief. The OP sequences though: why must they put Nyx on the piano? But because I've already seen a preview of megane-less Nyx some days ago, I like this different look of Nyx already. Demo... why the piano??? That was way off if the intention was to convey his past elegance... And Erenfried lost his megane too... and I LOVE IT. Wow, Erenfried, you swept me away with that look in your eyes. Aaah, I wanna hug you tight. But he belongs to Yorgo. And Rene... Overwhelmingly dazzling... What a pity, that voice of yours... *SIGH* If you have a change of voice, you might come that close to where I place Nyx, ah no, right next to him.

I wasn't really paying attention to the OP, so that was all I remembered. Also, because I didn't feel at all to watch tonight's episode... But I did... and my wound reopened.

I was hoping for a slight few seconds of Nyx, even as a cliffhanger, but this episode managed to postpone my anguish till next week (so far). Pandora should be happy Roche gets some well-deserved screentime, though second to Matthias?

Tonight was the Leader's story... but I was so ebil to think Matthias sat at the desk to memorise the library without bathing for seven years. OOPS. When Erenfried was speaking so desperately for Yorgo, I can only say "this is love". Okay, I'm really liking you more and more, megane-bocchan. (again with the nicknames - I am ebil.)

Hmm... What else to write? Oh. It's GOOD that Angelique didn't make a sound at all tonight. It's even MORE SUPERB the annoying cat SHUTTED up. And hooray for shades-less Jet getting some screentime too. That's about time.

The only glimpse of Nyx granted for me is at the ED... for a split second? The pain doesn't go away, which is why I'm staying up to post this instead. The ED... of course I preferred the first - with all that drama I displayed just over that loooooooverly song. The usage of erhu here is. omg. so. wrong. But Rene is very very pretty. Sigh. Very pretty. Matthias, maybe you should slit his throat with that pretty dagger so that we won't ever hear that >.< voice again. Nothing against Yamaguchi Kappei-san, demo, his voice suits Rene not. >.<

Nyx-san, Nyx... You're the reason I'm giving up hope on this Second Age. The OP tells a lot too. I can see where it's all ending. *depressed sigh*
